Your post reminded my of when I bought my first Macbook. It was 2006 and I bought it at the Apple store on 5th avenue in NYC just a day or two after it was released. Everything in the store was so chic and clear that I felt like I was in a spaceship. I felt very cool until it was time to pay and I wanted to use a check because I didn’t have a credit or debit card at the time. I didn’t have a pen and they had a hard time finding one in the store and it took three different employees to figure out how to handle a check payment. Not cool. I’ve been through several Mac laptops since then and I don’t see myself changing anytime soon.
