Those are good books too…but I wouldn’t say Into the Wild belongs on this list, since he starved to death in the end! Now is a good time to channel Thoreau though. Ironically, I live near the actual Walden Pond and it is completely closed due to Covid 19. So now might be the only time you could actually find some solace there, as it’s usually a very busy tourist destination!
