I drank too much white wine the day before the election day and told my next door neighbor and good friend I thought she was racist because she was voting for Trump. Now every time I look at their house, which is all the time since I'm working from home and their house is what I see out my window, I feel bad. Also, leeks in my grocery store cost $2.99. each I am impressed that you had six leeks to put into a soup. That's like--a $20 soup at least. I don't know if the suck has and end point or we just have to get used to it. Good luck.
