Hi Rachel,

I’m right there with you…my best performing article is one that I don’t particularly love. It’s just something I was thinking about and whipped out one evening. Meanwhile, other pieces that I think really represent me and that I feel proud of sit with just a handful of views.

Even worse, from time to time I go back and read favorite book passages by my favorite authors and I feel like anything I type here is just so small and insignificant.

I try to think of it as just a journal of thoughts that other people have access to if they want.

I liked your article about feeling homely. Well written and I can relate…fortunately as I get older it seems to matter less.
