Hey Nate--thanks for reading. I checked out your writing and see that you wrote on a similar topic a few days ago. I keep getting emails from Masterclass and they make the classes sound so good. I haven't signed up yet but I keep considering. Do you think there's a difference between classes like those and the classes offered here on Medium by people who wrote a few popular stories and now are experts? I honestly don't know. I do wonder if more people consider themselves 'writers' now than in the past. In the 1800's, how many people were hunched over a pad of paper trying to write about sleep patterns or morning routines? Today it feels like there's this 'everyone can be a great writer' vibe. I guess it could be true, but I'm pretty sure it's not. Anyway, that was a long response--lots to think about. Thanks again!
